Creative MP3 HELP!!! (1 Viewer)

I just bought a Creative Zen 20gb Mp3 player today. Everything seems to be perfect except one thing...

When I'm pressing the buttons on the touchpad, it always makes this annoying clicking sound. Is it supposed to be like this? If so, is there a way to turn the clicking noise off? Please Help!!! Thanks in advance

yeah its supposed to be there. you mean that clicking sound comes when you press a button right? isn't the same thing with ipods? and in when you scan, it has that scrolling sound. its prolly default. i doubt you can get rid of the sound...why does it bother you so?

On the opening Menu, where it says "Music Library\\Now Playing\\Play mode…" Scroll to the lowest level, "System", and select. Go to "Player Settings" > "TouchPad" (below "Sleep Timer") > and select "Clicker to "off".

I tried having the clicker on this setting; but I didn't like it because it didn't give you an awareness as to how fast you are scrolling. Either way, however, the difference is minimal.
