Just wondering how can I write a solid good creative writing piece without using up all my time of the exam. And if we have to write it in the form of a story would they be looking at structure or just the psychical journey of the character itself? Is there any techniques you need to include to get better marks?
Hopefully someone has the answers!
Thanks

My teacher advises us to create an imagery-dense and 1.5 to 2 page long piece. She recommends an adept use of strong metaphors (just one or two but must be very thought-provoking) and as a few simile. Especially for physical journeys, you'd better use descriptive language to create an acute visualization of both characters and what the rendezvous. You'd better avoid cliches and anything involved in 'my HSC experience' because such things are so banal. Starting with a famous quote is also advisable. Good luck.
