Hey,

Just wondering, do our creative pieces have to have a title?

I have been told that we do need one, but I forget one every time and seem to ge pretty well, and ive read a couple of exemplar answers that dont.

Thanks in advance

That's what I thought too...
But I think our teacher SUGGESTED that we have a title...so it's probably optional...maybe? lol.

It better be a narrative *crosses fingers*

No need for a picture. Only need a title for feature articles I think, you definitely don't need one for a short story or a speech.

No way do we have to have a picture.
its not an art exam.
and i think story titles are optional, if youve got a good one or it comes to you use it, but dont spend 20min thinking of it.

question: is everybody using prepared responses for creative pieces? or vague ideas which will hopefully be transformed into masterpieces from 9-11am tomorrow?

i think they might have been being sarcastic...because he said bring in a picture or draw your own...and obviously you are not allowed to take any material into the exam... plus do you think our teachers would leave out that tiny detail...

I rang up the HSC Advice Line, and they said it's up to you whether you give your creative writing piece a title or not, and that you won't be penalised for not doing it.
