Anyone every applied for credit transfer when transferring to UNSW? How long does it take normally from handing in the form to hearing? How soon is the earliest you can hand it in?

Additionally does anyone know what USYD's CHEM1101 and CHEM1102 (normal streams) get credited for? On the credit transfer website it says the UNSW Fundamentals chem but when you press on the link it links to UNSW normal chem stream?

It will be credited for CHEM1011 and CHEM1021. The course name changed in 2012 (compare the 2011 handbook and the 2012/3/4 handbooks), but I don't think they updated that website.

I'll just add your other question here to make it easier:
Forgot I asked that and made a separate thread for some reason haha.
I could ask about but I see it says I need to put like my SID and and what id assume is my uni email so id have to wait for that. My problem is more Im a bit worried a good chunk wont be credited in which case I might stay where I am rather than wasting that money and time so I dont want to wait too long for it. Do you know how long it usually takes to hear back from them.
Not really sure; I don't know if any offices are open, they should be though. You should call UNSW and enquire about it - this shouldn't require any ID (I've never needed to tell them my ID for phone calls).

If you meant on the transfer form, you could fill everything out except that, then when you enrol and your ID is made, you could get someone to add it then. If you can't enrol immediately, you could ask a trusted friend or family member to do it.

I'm sure most (if not all) will be credited, especially if it's from USYD.

That makes a lot of sense. Been confusing me how a normal stream at USYD would only be fundies at UNSW. When theyre pretty on par unis overall i was pretty surprised and didnt want to do chem again.
