i am currently reading the book called "Great Tales of Detection".
it is a collection of short stories from a lot of different authors.
i'm not sure if there is any crime fiction from other cultures in it, but it may be worth a look.
it is a fairly old book as it was first published in 1936, it mainly has alot of victorian style crimes in it.

some of the authors include
Edgar allan poe
Joseph conrad
o. Henery
L.P Hartley
and others

it is a very good read and has some great crime fiction stories in it, i would recomend it to anyone who can get a copy of it.

hey i am new to and i have an assignment coming up on crime fcition conventions on skull beneath the skin and beverly hills cop trilogy can any1 give me help with conventions of beverly hills cop it would be appreciated
