hai all. hope everyone's handling their HSC okay. xDDD

I've got my 3rd paper on Friday - Extension English 1. I've had the last week off, so I've been studying pretty hard.

I was just wondering if anyone has any information on the 2007 film "Disturbia" in regards to Crime Fiction. I've been researching and taking notes as best I can, but haven't seen the movie for quite some time, so there are still some gaps.

I'm using Disturbia as my related text for Hitchcock's Rear Window. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck with the remainder of your HSC, everybody. :3

Disturbia is just an appropriation of Hitchcock's Rear Window. However Disturbia is placed in a more modern context. I would think that this would limit your argument because both texts are basically the same, except for the obvious contextual differences? Though it is late, maybe just try to include contextual references to 9/11, escalating violence in the 2000's. I guess it could also relate with Stoppard's Absurdist representation of human interaction, through Kale's reprimand for assault.
