does anyone have any useful websites on battered wife syndrome and how it is used as self defence as a defence. or do you know of any landmark cases that involve battered wife syndrome and self defence?

plz help... anybody??

i know there was a case where there was a gay person that argued with BWS upon killing the partner...... anyone know the name of the case......im kinda forgot.....lol.....hsc's over ahaha

It is actually a very confused area of law. Battered Woman Syndrome is not yet a fully recongisable criminal defence, however one could say duress and Necessity (Full defences) or Provocation (Partial defence).
