I've kind of messed around with a few types of forms, but I think I'm set on critical response, but reading through the syllabus booklet, I've come across this.,
"a critique of an author's work
an independent investigation into the works of a particular historial period"

What does this entail? It seems pretty broad..and the second option almost seems like ext hist material? Could anyone help give me a hint here, as these seem far too simple to be true.. a critique of an authors work - how many?
