I'm currently completing a B Arts/B Business and Commerce at UWS and doing a Business Statistics unit this semester. Unfortunately, maths isn't one of my strengths and my lecturer/tutor isn't very supportive either.

I don't really care what mark I get as long as I pass but at the moment, things aren't looking too good.

If I fail it, I'm considering doing the same unit at another uni such as UTS to avoid the same lecturer and experience another approach which might perhaps help me.

Would they actually allow someone to do the same unit already offered at one's home institution at another? What are some (other) reasons someone would do cross-institutional studies?

I'd love to hear from anyone who's done this. Please share with me your experiences.

Thanks.
