ok, i just watched the 2nd one. yeah, i rented it out just to see how pathetic it was
and yup, it sucked the girl who played kathryn was trying way too hard to act like SMG. a lot of the story was exactly the same as the first one, i mean bloody hell, the beginning, where sebastian photoshops the photo?! *rolls eyes*

the innocent virgin annoyed me, the shower scene wasn't that great, either who'd want to tongue-kiss their twin sister?!

i thought it was funny in CI2, towards the end when sebastian resists kathryn to dash off to danielle, and kathryn says to him "you f**king p***y!!"
LOL man the way she said it... she sounded like she was scared/embarrassed to say the words

the first one was alot better due to the actors and actresses present in it! My grandad taped it thinking it was a murder mystery...lol, boy, was he mistaken! Who else here thought the acting was REALLY BAD?

yeah, as i said earlier, the actors in CI2 were trying too hard to be ryan phillippe and SMG.

The first was much better. If only because you haven't heard the entire plotline and script done with entierly different actors.

On a side point, the second one can be described quite simply:

B Grade porn without anywhere near as much nudity, and no cool base line.

i watched this movie today...and i really enjoyed it. i love these types of movies, and they are hard to find. the only thing that let me down was the bad acting from smg&ryan phillipe (ah he can be so hot :$)

and it doesnt seem that sebastien is in love with her until they almost have sex so that is portrayed a bit wrong i thought.

i have the dvd around the time it came out.

its an old movie. (ie old meaning i was a wee child) i cried in it. but i recently watched it again about a year ago, something lying in the dark corners of my room

i use to think it was hot, really seductive...

it really sucks. its so teeny it hurts my brain.

SLOW! jkjk.. it's a great movie with a lot of depth to it. The story was great, I still haven't gotten round to watching the original French film which inspired it?... some English Ext classes study it in yr11 i heard.

CI2 was a lame prequel.. actors were crap and it was obviously trying to capture the "horny easily aroused market" which American Pie had successfully marketed to. Haven't bothered to watch CI3- is it any good? *doesn't even know what it's about*

CI 2 ruined CI if you watched it for the "moving story"... sure the prequel sets up the people/characters but it was so... >_> .. Sure the chicks were hot and sutff, but it sorta annoyed me that they turned a really respectable and great story with huge potential into a seductive sleazy movie with a crappy story... it was like porn without the sex.

if u sorta like the manipulating and machevellian stuff in the movie but were dissapointed in the crappy actors and plot or just want a better movie...go watch dangerous liasons...its the original from which Cruelintentions was appropriated from...its got much better actors in glen close and john malcovich, its got the original plot which was MUCH better, and its machevellian follies is soo evil and wicked yet tantilisingly excited...and the general layout and props was much more suffisticated...
