hi, i got a UAI of 99.00, and considering doing law at uni.

however, i realise that the UAI cut off last year for combined law at UNSW is 99.15, 0.15 above my UAI :(

is it still worth putting CSP combined law at UNSW as a preference?

is there still hope in getting in even in the late round or final round?

I thought you can't change main round preferences anymore =/

I hope you had it at 1st pref anyway. There's ALWAYS a chance.

Although, the reason it was 99.15 last year was because they expanded student intake or so i've heard. Normally, it's around 99.4 or so.

And Law is damn popular so probably no late round offers =/

I just hope you put it as first pref.

All the best mate.

I wouldn't worry too much. With that UAI you could do law at any university in the country, from ANU to Monash except for Melbourne, Sydney and New South Wales (perhaps). If you're really interested in doing law, it shouldn't really matter what university you go to, since law is almost a homogenous degree. With that said though, with your UAI you'd have a very, very, very good shot at making a transfer to UNSW or Usyd next year, as long as you maintain a decent GPA.
