What sort of mark in the catholic papers tends to indicate band 6?

is CSSA really that difficult?

i've been through a few CSSA papers..... the only questions i actually found challenging were 9 and 10.... i'd say an 80% isn't really that difiicult for CSSA

but it's reassuring knowing if i get 70's i've still got a shot at a band 6

extension maths is a different story....lol.. i suck at ext.

what would be a good indication of a band E4 for extensions maths in the CSSA?

my school makes easy 3u papers.. eg the average in 2 assessments was 92% adnd we're not the smartest 3u kids.. ill be lucky to pass the catholic 3u paper... wish the school didnt boost our egos then deflate them with the CSSA paper, id prefer it to be realistic all the time

some schools don't boost peoples egos like that and that's how u see all those ppl crying about failing in the main HSC forum:p
but at da end it doesn't matter, the HSC exam will sort everything out!

yeah i know, id just rather have 3U exams that are of the expected 3U standard.. as you said, the HSC is the only real indicator...
