it wasnt that i didnt read the question properly.. dont worry i always do that, underline and highlight... the reason why i stuffed up was because there was a longitutial cross section of a plant root and there was an arrow pointing to what i thought was phloem... there was nothing in the question or on the diagram saying what we were supposed to talk about... i campained/argued with my teacher for about 10mins but then got over it!!

are you sure it was xylem? i swear it was phloem?? i did that too dun worry

my bio teacher said it was xylem, dont worry i swear it was phloem too, apparently there were no companion cells with a nucleus, no sieve tudes etc.... pretty much my whole class wrote about phloem...

Im pretty sure it was phloem aswell,
and it did have sieve plates... i am pretty sure i hope
