what was the 8 marker this year?
Something on the battle of currents with how westinghouse was more inclined to use eddy currents. And then you had to analyse the statement using modern applications of eddy currents and their drawbacks or some shiz...

My structure was:
- Lenzs law and how eddy current are formed
- How westinghouse was a proponent of AC current for its advantages
- How AC current can easily be stepped up/stepped down according to eddy currents in a transformer
- How eddy currents forming in the iron core of the transformer is a drawback so they use layers separated by insulating material
- Eddy currents in cooktops

Hopefully at least a 6

Question on difficulty of CSSA physics

Sup everyone.
How do you think you went on it, I thought it was okay in general but I have this nagging feeling that I didn't do that great.
What do you guys think was a good mark?

Still left out 5 marks tho :( ahh well... I fuckn hate physics lol

heaps of ppl feel that when they come out of an exam, but most end up feeling positively surprised when they get their tests back.

oh well, either way if you work really hard for the HSC, you'll be able to pull your mark up by heaps! it contributes to 1/2 ur mark, so u can work wonders with that if you study.
what was the 5 marker that you left out?

The 8 marker was on eddy current: production, problems, uses and there was a bit on Westinghouse and Edison.

But as for this feeling I don't really get it that often cause usually I don't stress in exams (never really have) except today.
I'm just praying that you're right and it is one of those common feelings.

yeah, sometimes when you find a paper doable you think it is difficult, bcs u except not to be able to answer most of the questions. However best of Luck, pretty sure once you rest and take a break, you might realise that you didn't stuff up like you think you did! Which module were most of the questions based on?

I had no idea about the 2nd laser question. What did you all write for the Einstein light as a constant speed question? Was surprised there was nothing on AC motors.

Hopefully you're right.
I think it was all evenly spaced out except there may not have been enough on Ideas but there was quite a bit on motors and generators, space was average.

My test was like 50% ideas! sometimes I wished we did CSSA! would you remember any of the higher order mark questions?
