Where do you park? Is it hard or easy to get a parking spot? Can you get a pass and park in uni grounds?
Any info would be greatly appreciated as went for a drive to see where the uni actually was and parking looked like a bitch.

You can:
a) Buy a card for around $2.70 from a little box outside the library. You put credit on this with coins, and it allows you to park in carpark 3.

b) Pay by coins (into a box) and park in carpark 2. this is also $2.70 This is closer to the university (not by much though), but you need to have the right coins on you - and it fills up fairly quickly. By about 8.15 - 8.30am this is full.

c) Pay $2.50 at the TAFE next door, park and walk up here.

d) Park in the street, there is HEAPS of street parking in the mornings, but it can be up to a 20 minute walk if you get there late. Some people park in the cemetary, others at the station and get the bus to the uni.

There has never been a day when i havent been able to get parking at ANY of these places. BUT on your first few weeks, just leave yourself enough time to get there and have parking and walk if you need to.
