I'm not sure you will find many people on here able to give much info about Curtin. Curtin is predominately a Western Australian university. It has a sydney campus for business, but it only opened in 2005, so not many people will have gone through it, and it hasn't necessarily become particularly well known yet amongst students (yet). This doesn't mean it is bad, it just means there probably won't be too many students around here with much information about. Sorry I can't actually offer any useful advice :p except perhaps see if there are some more either western australian focused sites (which can give broader info about the uni), or perhaps business related sites.

For those who want to do actuarial and won't make it into UNSW, Macquarie or ANU, then Curtin would be the place to go to.
