the box is an intense wave just a shame its so short, im keen for north point, im not afraid of the bigger stuff, but im not accustomed to it being big all the time, where im from, (south coast) it might get 8 ft three times a year.

being a lidder, im a fan of the heavier stuff, but i like long waves as well,

have any of you guys heard of aussie pipe down in jervis bay? now thats what i call a wave...

I went down to Bendalong last easter for camping trip (down near nowra)

i was BBing in 6ft waves constantly for 3 days with off shore wind.
i was in heaven. it was the best holiday of my life. the wave just lasted for EVER

pfft sif the south coast doesnt cop swell, it cops more than anywhere north of it - any south swell is gonna be bigger on the south coast than syd or newy or port or anywhere

true true but we get hammered by annoying north east winds daily...
south coast gets more grunt but unless you know the spots, youll never find perfection

i saw some awesome set ups around kiama when i was there, just needed swell
