neh, I'm usually not too fussed about people spammin' (but that's not to say...)

these days, we're more concerned about the content (esp offensive material). every so often things get out of hand, and the moderators go a demolition derby. or when moderators have a really bad day, or assignment due (and stressed beyond relief).

As soon as you clicked on the thread, it loaded up the all mighty and famous goatse.cx. I'm curious how he managed to be able to post something like that.

It was JavaScript - I enabled HTML so that I could construct tables and so on fairly easily... there's always the possibility that someone will exploit it (unfortunately).

As I've said, in another thread, it's how long people have been at the forum as well as their post count... it seems as though the cut-off for people registers in 2003 is alot higher for Custom Status then 2002.
