well, you don't have the requirements of custom status, so currently you can do no more than what you are doing now

Okay, this should be fixed up now.

For custom status, you need to meet at least one of the following criteria:

a) Reputation of at least 125 points.
b) Registered for at least 260 days.
c) Made at least 2000 posts.

It could be up to an hour until the changes take effect.

OK, once I get one of the three requirements (ie 125 rep points) how do I set my Custom Status?

go to user CP > edit profile (on the left menu), and then once that page loads there will be a space for you to change your custom status

I think Lazarus has to update it every once in awhile...I had to wait a few days for it to kick in as well..
