I received a uai of 69.85 and the cut off for the course i wanted was 70. Do I still have a decent chance of getting in?

Possibly. What course is it, and what uni?

It depends on the demand for the course. Cut-offs may fluctuate from year to year. The higher the demand, the higher the cut-off. I'd say you have a chance.

Given the number of questions about this - I've seen abot eight so far today - I'm thinking we need a sticky notice about how to try and predict if you'll get in (ie by looking at the trend in UAI over previous years).
