The drinks of 4 girls I'm friends with were all spiked the other week, its scary when you've got guys trying to latch onto them and you and a few others having to argue with them while trying to escort the girls out of a club while security sit back and do fuck all. It doesn't matter where the people come from, stuff like this is still going to happen.

The internet provides just another medium to meet people, and no matter how you go about meeting people, there will always be weridos, there are some great people on the net which meeting them would be great fun (like some of the BoS'ers) while some will be complete weirdos who are a bit scarey (also like some of the BoS'ers )... you just have to accept it and adjust your actions and approach to compensate for that.

bout drink spiking, it happened to my cousin aswell a couple of months ago

and not sure if it was the same story or not, but this chick hadnt left her drink alone at all and it was on the bar, and she reckons the barman spiked it.. maybe they have barmen spiking drinks and then big scary gorilla men come and take you away and give the barman a nice tip. its pretty scary...

In my opinion, a bar or a night club isn't a place that's for a decent girl to go.

personally i don't believe in internet relationships (as in boyfriend/girlfriend) but you can become good friends through the net. i don't know about sms. ek.

your friend should be careful. she could meet him but she should keep it in mind that he can turn out to be a completely different person from what she expected him to be.
