Hey can anyone confirm, whether that poster of bodyjar on the notice boards is for the old conception day, cos if theyre back this year

I assume thats an old poster. Kind of over the 'jar. I think they'll be looking to get some of the new punk acts around. They had After The Fall and Unpaid Debt last year.

The anime club at macq isn't very active compared to the other unis..

sometimes it feels like they're forced to do the things they do (eg. anime lib, screenings)

Well see this is what happened..

A few years ago, the anime club was full of healthy members, then .... they all graduated...leaving noone in the club managing it. Its slowly been recovering

yeh mario is supporting so thats like 20 minutes... i didnt really like his album, then again ive only heard it once over...

keep me updated with whos going... dont really like ushers album but id go anyways...
i hope brian mcknight comes... he had some album out this year which i havnt heard...

dunno how long, usually varys... but dc is 140 or about that... which i dont think its worth... i mean sure their popular but still... all about the s and d...

joes is 70... which is reasonable... anything over 100 is a rip off i reckon... thats why all these artists should do a massive one... like conception or an rnb bdo... better value...

I keep hearing how short these performances are as well, i think missy elliot did something like 4-5 songs for $80+ and i think thats fucking horrid.

Having been to quite a few gigs since turning 18, my expectation of a 45 min support before an hour long set + encore for the main band are the usual nowdays. Anything less than that and it should be a waste of money :S

i think sometimes raves are held down at the atrium.. not sure when though...
theres always conception day though ;p

they used to be held there, but no longer will be. as far as I know, events are no longer allowed to run past 2am at the Atrium.

there were a few tuts running in the holidays.. other than that, =T not sure..
i saw lotsa people graduating tho.. i can't believe we graduate in that crummy E7B hall.. its not even a proper hall!

i always wondered that as well. it's the same in the christmas holidays! i was told it's because people do summer courses
