I keep seeing people posting and asking about the dates of their prescribed texts and the texts in the stimulus booklet...

WHY would u ever mention these In an essay? Like related texts are another matter, but as if the examiners don't know the dates of the other texts.

So people who are putting dates in, where did u get this idea? was it from a credible source??

i think its just good to show you know it and set the time frame i guess...you cant say that oh the markers would know it, they are markers they know everything about your texts so if that was the case we wouldnt write anything.
i dont use the specific dates of my poems but i mention something about the 1940s and the migrants coming over around then..

Its important for the Skrzynecki poems because you need to discuss context. For others, not so much.
