I was just wondering if anyone went and if so, was the service held outside at a memorial? I went to Chatswood, and the service was held in the RSL due to the weather. I was a little dissapointed at this. I feel it wasnt really in the spirit of remembering. This sounds wanky. I have had no sleep.

Yeah, I went to my local service at Woronora. Same situation as you- the service was held indoors at the RSL instead of at the memorial due to the weather. There wasn't enough room for everyone to fit in, so some missed out. A very bad decision in my opinion.

I think it's better than forcing them to stay outside though... I'm guessing a lot of the people - diggers included - wouldn't have fared well in such weather due to age.

I went in for the march but not the dawn service. It all gets a bit teary.
