Is De Broglie's proposal that electrons demonstrate wave-like nature in the Ideas to Implementation syllabus?

It's not actually mentioned by name in any of the syllabus dot points, but it's in my textbook and i think we did it in class.

So basically i'm asking, do we need to know it?

Nope I dont think you need it for i2i [well i cant find anything in the syllabus either] but you do need to know it for Quanta to Quarks [that's if you're doing that option topic] under the dot point:
Describe the impact of de Broglie'sproposal that any kind of particle has both wave and particle properties

and also in the last two dot points of the same focus area (2)

* focus area 2
* the limitations of classical physics gave birth to quantum physics

describe the confirmation of de
Broglies proposal by Davisson and
Germer

explain the stability of the electron
orbits in the Bohr atom using de
Broglies hypothesis

we had learnt de broglie wave-particle duality in from ideas to implementation as well (using spotlight/excel)

since we're doing astrophysics, i guess we can forget about this now :)
