I've got the decarbonating soda water prac due tommorow and I'd just like to check my calculations and if they're reasonable or similar to what you may have got.
Initial weight of soda water: 346.65 g
Final weight of soda water: 340.85 g
Mass change: 5.8 g
n = 5.8/44
n = 0.131818181
V = m . Vm
V = 0.131818181 . 24.5
V = 3.23 L
3.23 L of gas??! could that be right... the bottle is only 346 grams... is the gas really compressed that much?!

n = 5.8/44
n = 0.131818181
V = m . Vm
V = 0.131818181 . 24.5
V = 3.23 L
