I was doing engineering/law since my dad really wanted me to do engineering, and I thought it wouldn't be so bad, but it was horrible and it was too late to change so I ended out dropping out and deferring a year from my combined law degree at UNSW. My real passion is international studies so I was wondering is it possible for next year when I accept my deferred place to do int studies/law instead of eng/law, because my letter accepting my deferral says engineering/law so I'm pretty worried. Thanks!

Its fine you can change to international studies / law. Just make sure to follow the aforementioned course outline and at the end of the year make sure to follow through with the IPT.

ipt? so are you saying just have eng/law but do the international studies subjects?

For UNSW law you can change streams at the end of the year without having to meet any WAM requirement. Doing international studies subjects lets you get them credited before officially changing degrees.

thanks! so basically i just forget about all the core engo courses etc? i see you do comm/law omnipotence but do you know anyone doing int studies/law? whats it like?

You can change during semester actually >.> My friend jumped from Criminology to Commerce after 4 weeks.
