What definition are you using for world order?

I can't find any clear cut definition.

world order is defined i think in the united nations charter (cant remember which art) as the "maintainence of international peace and security".....obviously this is a hard goal to achieve and thus is more an ideal than an achievable state of the world....coz world order is screwed and practically ineffective and not very enforcable...

hope this helps...check your texts coz that quote is probably in you text under united nations sec...so its a great definition

World order is a theoretical ideal, a state of actual peace and harmony where there is no over conflict. More realistically, world order can be seen as a balance of power between nations.

and yeah id probably throw in the above quote somehow... its a useful little thing :)
