Well let's just hope that she'll be fine. I don't really like the new batch of tv actress-turned singers (e.g. Bec Cartwright) but Delta's different because she writes her own songs as well being able to sing, that's pure talent.

AND she performs them which is also wat i like about her. she can actually play the piano and sing at the same time. AND shes not trying 2 turn herself into britney with skimpy clothes

I don't think she's that attractive.. *shields herself from flying tomatoes and boos*
and yeah I think she looks heaps older too..

i hate how the media give all these front page articles dedicated to her and how her "lyrics will save her" OH PLEASE!
so many people have this disease everyday and they don't get anything. it's so stupid..
but that 'she's strong and the lyrics will keep her going' TOPS IT OFF!

yeh heaps and heaps of people have this disease some a lot younger than her- which is tragic that little kids have to go through this

the way their talking about her its as if shes already died which she hasnt
i wish people would just get over it so she can get better in peace

Oh come on ppl its tragic no matter who it is. She is 18! Imagine having cancer at that age. People dont just feel sorry for her because of who she is ok........geez I hate it when cynical people start implying that. Its just a little bit more tragic when such a genuine down-to-earth person with amazing talent to boot has to go through such a public battle.
I don't wish it on anyone and the public has a right to encourage her through this hard time!!!

her cancer did seem to generate an awful lot of publicity for her.
no offence.
and how can u say someone is nice if you have never met them. there is a thing called a carefully constructed media image.
sorry that is very cynical and some people will get annoyed when they read it.

i dunno... i kinda felt for her.. not cause of the whole famous thing rather the whole cancer thing... i know how hard cancer affects some people nobody deserves it at all! but the whole public thing is a bit far off!! come on! can u imagine having to run from media cameras when u dont even no if ur going to get better or not! leave the girl alone besides she will be back!!!
i think shes got talent and nobody deserves cancer.. famous or not...

I agree with YEAR12... that was an awful thing to say... particularly since it's scuppered her chances of getting started in the US... and it had nothing to do with publicity in Australia...

not to mention all the magazines? i can't remember at the moment but i'm sure she made it on a few magazine front covers "Brave Delta" pleeeaseeeeee.

i work in a newsagency and usually it's dominated by nicole kidman & penelope cruz.. lately it has been jennifer aniston but now, it's "brave delta"

Good for Delta,
i mean, on a scale of her music from 1 to 10, i would probably give her a 2, and on a scale of her body and shit from 1 to 10, she definitely deserve a 9 and a half.
i mean, she really doesn't look that bad.
i'm quite impressed that she entered Billiboard chart 100 and jumped to number1 and remained there for such a long time.
