1) Supposedly, you don't get as easily fucked over/found by anti-piracy agencies.
2) Almost guaranteed seeding; higher speeds, on average.
3) Less AIDS for your computer.
4) Alternative/rare crap.

Demonoid is lacking in quite a few ways.

What I mostly want now is hard to find music (which i mostly get from soulseek).
Does anyone have an invite for waffles or what.cd? it seems they're extremely hard to come by.

PS I can't get speeds higher than 10 or 20 kb\ps. my internet is ADSL 2+ and I can download from http and ftp at upto 1m/ps but my torrents won't download faster than 20kb\ps. I have port forwarding etc. and am using both utorrent and vuze (azureus) (on separate computers).

I do seed and have an good ration of 1.87 with 60gb uploaded. Can someonehelp please?

Have you enabled protocol encryption? Some ISPs like to throttle torrents.
