as for me - i would definately confront them and ask whats going on.. unless they gave a reasonable answer i would tell them in a very rude way i dont ever want to see them again...

if it's a bad reason, leave, you don't deserve to be with someone if they can't admit they are with you, they probably aren't taking it seriously, maybe they think being with you (---an example!!) will ruin their reputation - you don't deserve to be with someone with flawed ideas so get out of the relationship

if it's a good reason (i can't even think of one right now) give them another chance
