Hey fellow biologists, does anyone have any tips for approaching the depth study? I know each school does it differently (ours is a research task linked to mod 7), but what kinds of questions tend to be asked, and are there ways to prepare more efficiently?

I reallyyyy need to ace this exam because I got my sem 1 reports back and bio is my worst subject by far...

omg our at2 is also depth study + exams except our depth study isnt marked so its kinda like a cheat sheet

anyways idk how relevant this is to you but our bio teacher (shes gonna write the assignment) said that our depth study is gonna be a comparison and the exam will have questions that need the depth study to be answer
for example, explain the difference between gas exchange in amphibians and humans

im not sure this is helpful, but our teacher said we're getting our notification this week so maybe ill get the answer to ur question later this week

Hmm I see, so we just need to know the answers to a set of questions? We also need to gather a lot of data btw

what specifically is ur depth study?
Basically we gather a bunch of info and data on mod 7 content, such as specific diseases as well as prevention/control measures, and then we sit a 2 hr exam answering questions based on everything (but I don't know specifically what kinds of questions they might ask). We're allowed to bring a single-sided fact sheet with stats into the exam

Also just realised that there's some mod 8 content too
