i know this is very very hopeful, but yeah. drama and V.A. students have had their works returned, and the ones selected for OnStage/Art Express have been announced.


so whats the werd people?

Submission of English Extension Course 2 Major Works

Attention: Principals of Secondary Schools & Institutes of TAFE with English Extension Course 2 Students.

The final date for students to complete work on their 2003 Higher School Certificate English Extension Course 2 Major Works is Tuesday 26 August 2003. Students must hand in their Major Work to the supervising teacher by 9.00am on Wednesday 27 August 2003.

The final date for receipt of the English Extension Course 2 major works at the Office of the Board of Studies is Wednesday 3 September 2003. The special requirements for submission of practical components are shown on the following pages.

Please ensure that this information is provided to the relevant staff. Certification/Declaration, Non-Certifification forms, schedule of submitted major works form(s), and identification tags have been included with this circular.

It is recommended, where possible, that students retain a copy of their major works. The projects will be returned to schools early in Term 1, 2004

When do people find out? You would think that you wouldn't find out about showcase until the HSC results were released otherwise people will be knowing how well they did!

Very true. If you wait for the results to come, you'll probably know that you've made it. For example 48-50/50, but that might not be conclusive.

i don't think that's an issue at all - as has already been said, they've told art express people (pretty much ensuring them with a fantastic mark). the marks themselves don't say enough either, you can get 50/50 and still not get in.

i have some 'leaked information'!!! a boy at my school wrote something about an affair with his teacher (reads like a soft-core porno and i can email it to anyone who's up for a laugh) and the bos markers got in touch with my english teacher and she told me they 'weren't too happy with the content'. ehheghehe
