I missed open day =( So i've been trying to find more info about this course. For diagnostic radiography, i know that you have to stufy for 3 years full time and after that, what is the average starting salary? Also, there would be clinical education so would there actually be contact with dead bodies for examination or blood? Just hoping if somebody who does the course can explain to me what you guys learn or if the course is hard or anything.

Also, is sonography a specialised course which you can do as an extra year with honours?
thanks

Edit: Cumberland or Camperdown/Darlington?

For DR its 3 years full time then a 1 year PDY (Professional Development Year). DR is quite a bloodless career, not counting first year lab session with cadavers and the occassional dip into x-raying dead bodies. But usually you deal with live patients. The course isn't that hard. Maths and Physics for HSC would help a lot, although in first year you do get bombed with some Chem and Bio.

Sonography is a postgrad course, check it here:

Hope this helps!
