Has there been any information about UWS having diaries this year?

yes they are free ... i don't think that they are pretty ... but i haven't heard anything about them, i'm sure you will discover if they have them when uni begins.

Plus, its not like you use the diaries anyway.

You won't forget most things. The unit outlines have a structure of what each lecture, and prac or tut is on each week - i just tend to follow that.

And lecturers don't shut up about assignments when they are due in one or two weeks

well if you're lucky you should get a diary...I didn't get one last year...I don't know why apparently my campus (bankstown) didn't give them out...though other campuses did...so fingers crossed you'll get one, fingers crossed I get one this year too hehe...we'll see

bankstown...see I put it in brackets next to my comment? which campus will you be attending? if you wanted a diary that much you could always pick one up from another campus if they don't give them out at yours...though personally I'd find it easier just to buy my own...

I didn't bother getting one last year cause wherever you get them from was at the opposite end of the campus to where my lectures were, and i was lazy, especially when its hot

when do we get the unit outlines?

You get your outlines on the first day of each of your classes.

that's right...you'll get all of that info at your first lecture or tutorial for each subject...and your lecturer or tutor will go through it with you, so no need to worry about that

yeah basically it goes through the requirements of the unit, has info on assignments and stuff like that

lol. It has all your assignments in it. Plus what is covered during lectures and tutorials.
