I believe that some of these people also tried attacking police.

in the context of all that happened seems like a waste of everyone's time that they're being prosecuted

I hate party politics. While joining (and eventually leading) a political party has been for a long time my ambition, I've come to realise that I am just not prepared to compromise my viewpoints to support the Party.

I took the photo, so I know exactly what happened. Guy threw projectile. Guy tried to disappear into crowd. Two cops tried to arrest him. Six students intervened, actively beating up said two cops. Two further cops intervene, and violence is eventually dissipated, though the original target disappeared successfully into the crowd.

"LET HIM GO! LET HIM GO! LET HIM GO!"

I wish it were dubious. It's not. These are people who honestly believe that they are entitled to use violence to push their viewpoints. This is, to them, not a contradiction, as any violence committed against them is in response to their evils.

Well they do look up to "heros" Like Mao, Lenin, and Che Guevara.

What was it Mao said - "political power comes out of the barrel of a gun".
Little do they realise that Che actually massacred Trotskyites whenever he encountered them.

I love how they worship Che Guevara and then complain about the War on Iraq (well technically it is now the war IN Iraq).
Fool.

Ernesto Guevara = Freedom fighter.
George Bush = Freedom fighter.

what does this mean? punching them in the face repeatedly? pushing them away to help the disappearing guy? shepharding the police? tackling them to the ground? what did they actually physically do?

its kind of obvious that i was attempting to come to some sort of objective truth here. Lets try and keep it on a factual basis. We know you hate the SRC.

His view was that you couldn't be a socialist without supporting the communist party, which was maoist/stalinist.
