well we do aboriginal spirituality
the impact on christianity in australia from 1900-now
thats wat we've done/doing so far
i dont know wat else we do yet
cross religion studies or something-i dont know what that is

There is also Catholic Studies in the HSC which is what my school used for students who didnt want to do SOR. There is no HSC exam for that subject

we got that damn assessment on ecumenism

thanks mate.. it was cool except for one question of development of ecumenism in Aust since WW2 that i couldn't think of enough to write about for long enough, but yeah

religion assessment

yea we had ours last week... it wasnt really a test but a speech on religious plurality in australia .. with uniting church and pentecostal movements..
for 1 unit students it was worth 5%
but for 2 units it was 10%

1 unit had to write an essay on the use of sacred texts in forming ethics

and then 2 short answers on sthing... dunnpo wat


2u ie me, had to wtrite 3 essays in 2 hrs
one on sacred texts and beliefs forming ethics
one on sacred texts informing rituals and gender roles
one on Paul and the Rightly Guided Caliphs

was v hard to finishin timew n write a substantial amount (all out of 20 so expected bou 5 pgs)

i got mine done tho

we dont have an actually exam we have an oral on aboriginality when we get back
and i really dont want to do it coz i no shit all about it

Man i can't remember if i got a unit 1 exam, i guess i didn't cause it asked the same questions as the 2 unit exam....i'm special, i'm the only one in my year to drop down to 1 unit, almost finished the whole thing!

Oh yeah..

Yeah, we definately had a half-yearly exam for SOR1; I got 27/50 (54%). I was actually pretty pleased that I passed the exam, but now I'm gonna put my head down and work a bit harder to get to maybe 70% or so.
