Dif. Between B Music and B Music Studies? (1 Viewer)

I'm looking at doing a B Arts/B Music Studies and I'm wondering what the difference is between doing Music Studies and doing B mus majoring in Music education. I read the whole courses section of the Sydney Conservetorium of Music and couldn't shed any light on the matter.

B.Music Studies is a more 'general' course about music, i.e. you learn about all kinds of things to do with music: history, performance, musicology, aural, etc.

BMus - you have to major in either perf, composition or musicology.

BMusEd - you get an education degree out of it which qualifies you to teach in NSW schools.
