Difference between a major, sub major and Elective (1 Viewer)

Hi

Just want to ask what are the differences between these aspects? Also I am quite interested in doing some IT areas in business however I do not like programming. Is it possible to choose which aspects of IT do I want for my business degree?

submajor = 4 subjects
elective = a unit of study (ie.subject) which is chosen from a big list of potential subjects
