yeah accent would definitely give it away, maybe dress as well, and pencilcase items.

i saw a guy once with a pencilcase that had all this asian writing on it, and pictures of asian anime characters, i was like T___T

so easy lah :)

say something is on specail for 99cents at a supermarket
Azns buy 30 of them for $29.70
whereas fobs go and buy three of these for $2.95 , and repeat it another 9 times so that they end up with 30 items for $29.50

1. Eating habbits

I also dislike how people talk Chinese amongst themselves (or any other language for that matter) as I can't understand it. English is the national language in Australia.

I wish I could speak in another language with my friends so we could make fun of and bitch about the people around us.

I wish I could speak chinese, so I could eaves drop on conversations. Especially at restaurants, ans they're talking about my order.

The accent & sometimes you can tell by the backpack, pencil case & how the girls do their hair.
Usually the imports stay amongst themselves & move in packs.

That's my plan. If I can detect an accent I'll probably smile and walk away. It's a dick thing to do but I can't stand fobs..

I love it how first generation Chinese Australians disdain their heritage.

But really, I can't stand that 90% of the time if I ask an ethnic store assistant a question they have to find someone who speaks english to answer my question. Fucking useless fobs.

LOL i've seen the azns at maq.

The shit the korean girls wear and their mega heels. To wear them shows great subservience and pack horse abilities. If I ended up being a lonely 30yold male I would order a Korean mail order bride and marry her. She will be subservient, a great house keeper/slave and child rearer.

Dude, I go into Azn supermarkets and use the asian name for stuff and they still don't understand me.

Maybe you couldn't say it right. Same way as fobs can't speak English your correct way.

I speak to them in English and use the Asian names. Maybe its anglicized asian but thats the names my mum uses in azn speak.

Simple things like Taro, Sago or Tapioca, Pandan leaves etc.

No such language as azn. If your mum comes from Malaysia/Singapore, "Taro" is never used - people from that area use the English term "yam"; if she uses "taro", it was acquired here). in Malay word "keladi" is used, no local Asian (if Cantonese speaking ones) store assistants will understand since they don't understand Malay. Also most of them don't have a very strong English vocab.

Also sago (pronounced "sagoo" in M'sia) is not tapioca. Sago comes from the sago palm which is very different from the tapioca plant (very easy to grow them in tropical Asia: just stck a 20 cm length of its stem in the ground and before long, voila, you have a new tapioca plant sprouting out. During the Japanese occupation of Malaya/Singapore, there was a serious shortage of rice and other food. People had to resort to eating tapioca mainly.
