yea like at USYD you can do B. Medicine/Surgery/Music.
It's a bit of an odd combo....but I guess it's good being that flexible

Why would anyone want to do a double degree unless they are related?

get the best of both worlds
Widen career opportunities
Pursue interest, as other pointed out.

And also if you're not sure yet about what you want to be.. which is exactly the situation I'm at. Broadens up your options.
