I own the Heinemann text book for IPT and the definitions of information management and project management softwares are not clear to me. They sound the same. Could someone clarify? Or if anyone uses another textbook could you kindly post the definition?

Thanks

Information Management is the management of information, the data.
Project Management, is the management of the project development. Mainly managed by the System analyst, who sets tasks, time schedules, organising, managing, controlling etc.

Correct me if i'm wrong.
