$\frac{d}{dx} \left (2x^3 - \frac{2}{x} + \frac{3}{x^2} \right ) = \frac{d}{dx} \left (2x^3 - 2x^{-1} + 3x^{-2} \right ) \\ = 6x^2 + 2x^{-2} - 6x^{-3} \\ = 6x^2 + \frac{2}{x^2} - \frac{6}{x^3}$
