has anyone seen this - the documentary with The Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Dandy Warhols? what did u think...i haven't seen it but i want to - is it worth it

it is totally worth it! i haven't checked it out since it's general release, but i went ot the premiere at acmi - brett deboer and matt hollywood were there - and it was awesome! it's a great story, both bands come off looking pretty rotten at times! i knwo that a lot of BJM fans think thta the doco's out to get Anton Newcombe, but i don't know, i think that there's only so much that editing can do to portray a person badly, and he does come off rather iffily... a brilliant musician/artist, dure, but a little bit scary nonetheless!

i give it 5 stars, i think margaret gave it 4.5, even if you don't like it the soundtrack is amazing and you can just shut your eyes and listen to some damn good tunes

i think the filmmakers show a very distinct bias toward the brian jonestown massacre...

anyway, i couldn't give half a shit about either band but the film was entertaining.

I won tickets for them - got them in the mail on Friday but I'm not a fan of Dandy Warhols but I have a friend that's really into Courtney Taylor so I gave them to her
