digital cameras (1 Viewer)

i'm looking for a digital camera with 3MP and 3X optical zoom.
can u guys recommend a brand and model. my budget's 500 or less.

r the sony cybreshots any good? or should i stick to known camera brands like canon, kodak, etc.

is it true that the memory cards for canon r cheaper than memory sticks and sd cards?

any other essential features i should be looking for?

My recommendation: Kodak, with MMC expansion.
Cybershots = expensive, though they're not too bad. I don't like them myself (too small and fiddley).

I have always stuck with known-photography brands.

I would recommend Nikon cameras if you want quality.

They have a good reputation for using very good lenses which make the quality better.

I personally use a Nikon Coolpix 2100 2MP

buy any camera made in china and is a chinese brand.... they will do just fine as they're mp3 players have shown

Don't buy cheap sony cameras...
You can get a much better deal with a Canon or Kodak in that budget.
