I disagree. The time it takes me to walk to Central, which is usually half an hour cos I walk so damn slowly, gives me the opportunity to think, daydream, time to myself and besides I sometimes take a detour through Victoria Park. As for Redfern...eww.

Nicer? It's noisier, steeper, more crowded and unless you catch a train that goes over the Harbour Bridge, the train's take a minute or two longer to get to your destination. Booo!

Plus all those smelly UNSW kids catch the train from Central.

yeah, i wouldn't mind going to central to go home if it wasn't for the trains thing. god knows i have to go far enough without prolonging the trip any further.
