What is everyone's thoughts on a 2 paragraph model for discovery essays, whereby it is:

Intro
Para 1
- Core + Related Synthesis
Para 2
- Core + Related Synthesis
Conclusion

The minimum I'd be doing is 3. My teacher would absolutely crucify me doing 2 lol. I have 3 integrated paragraphs

I'd suggest 3 paragraphs as a minimum ideally. If you are not a strong English student then doing separate paragraphs for your related text and prescribed typically works better.

4 paragraphs is ideal prescribed, related, prescribed, related. That way you get a nice natural comparison and contrast without really having to artificially incorporate it
