Forget about a social life, you're looking at studying 24/7. If you don't turn up to classes on the dot, and attend all lectures, you'll be lucky to get a pass.
lol idiot

its not that easy to have a D average. it also depends at which uni you are at.

I have a distinction average and it is not impossible to maintain. I have a decent social life, skip my fair share of lectures each semester and don't have the best attention span in lectures. However, I always attempt to keep up to date with assignments, revision etc. It depends on what you are doing, if you like what you are doing, whatever little work you do will always take you further. I like mining engineering so I find it easy to learn.

how much effort required generally speaking to maintain this ??
Apply yourself to your studies. Attend lectures, put in the necessary research for upcoming assignments, allow ample time to complete set tasks, revise, attend lectures, listen, and 'engage' with your university.

At least that way, even 'if' you do not achieve a D average, you will know you did your best.

Good luck.
