could someone please help with an explanation on how to do questions on dividend yield? i cant seem to find it anywhere......thank you

heyy dividend yield is the the return of an investment as a percentage of the amount invested *str8 from the book*... .. to find it u need to know the dividend and the share price... you put the dividend over the share price and multiply by 100%... lemme chuk you a example....
' a company with a share price of $5.42 declares a dividend of 25c. Calculate the dividend yield'
0.25
5.42 x 100% = 4.61% :eek:
