Burning Divx Videos --> DVD

I want to burn some Divx Videos (AVI Files) to be able to play in my dvd player.

Does anyone know what format i should burn it as?
Would DVD+R work on my DVD player and any programs that do that?

Hi,
You can covert it to a dvd (it will be a VOB file) using WinAVI (It's pretty easy to use) or you can burn the Avi using NeroVision Express.

Don't think so, I tried and it said use NeroVision Express. *shrugs*
Oh and I forgot to say WinAVI puts a watermark on whatever you convert, unless u register somehow...

DVD+R or DVD-R should play on most DVD players... but your DVD burner might not burn both- it needs to be a multiformat burner... just check the specs..

for the Divx Videos --> DVD problem-> i have no idea.

Well today I used powerproducer and tried to make a DVD playable except it didn't work in my dvd player.

I set it to Standard Quality but no picture.

Well my burner is a dual layer multiformat LG burner so it's no trouble, but type of mediums do normal dvd players read.

Just burn it, It will probably work, as some players can read some pc formats.
